Submission Guidelines

File name should be in a format of: SBFS_name_school_grade
The pages must have 1 inch margins, and the text must be written double-spaced, in 12pt Times New Roman.
The pages must be numbered. There is no page number limit.
Word limit is minimum 1,200 to maximum 4,000 words. The Bibliography are excluded from the word count.
All tables and figures (pictures, diagrams, etc.) are to be indexed and are required to have a textual description. All textual descriptions are not included in the word count.
All web-based and print-based information, data and secondary research referenced in the paper must be cited in the Bibliography section.

Academic Honesty & Integrity

In accordance with SBFS' internal policy, it is the responsibility of each participant to comply with our academic integrity and intellectual honesty policy that adheres to the highest standards of professional and personal conduct.

To protect and uphold academic, intellectual and scholarly integrity, the below are strictly prohibited:

Unauthorized Collaboration: The paper must be the author’s original written work product. The author must also serve as the principal investigator, design the project, collect and analyze the dataset, and put intellectual effort in the substantive contributions to the topic in question.

Fabrication: Unauthorized invention or falsification of information, data and/or records.

Plagiarism: Intentionally representing the words and/or ideas of another person’s work

Terms & Conditions

The participants agrees that all submissions will be evaluated by SBFS’ judging criteria, which may be subject to change and at SBFS' discretion.

SBFS will not be able to release individual performance or placement results, other than the announcement of the final awardees.

The participant agrees to release and waive the organisation and its directors and staff, parent company and any other parties connected with the organisation of any liability whatsoever. Further, the participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the organisation from any liability, loss, claim, cost or demand and defend the organisation to the extent that is allowed by law.

The participant acknowledges that his or her submission may be automatically disqualified in the case of failure to comply with Participant Rules, Submission Guidelines or Academic Honesty & Integrity policies.

The participant agrees that submissions will become the property of SBFS and may be reproduced at SBFS' sole discretion, with the participant’s work credited by name.

The participant agrees that no refunds shall be granted once submission has been completed.
